Defects of OnePlus 6 Phone

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus -- OnePlus6 -- is facing is repetitive issue of flickering display.

This is started with the roll out of oxygen OS 5.1.8 software update that was released in mid June. The company has already released another update oxygen OS 5.1.9 but the issue seems unresolved till now.

The issue as described by various user on OnePus forums and reddit is that the screen of Oneplus 6 start flickering in sunlight especially apps/web pages with white backgrounds.

A similar issue was also reported on XDA developers forum which said, "When Auto Brightness is enabled and I am viewing the phone in direct sunlight, the maximum brightness seems to change really quickly. It brightens and dense quickly, almost qausing a feeling of screen flickers. It only happens when the phone hits 100% brightness.

The oxygen OS 5.1.8 update also had another flaw that was reported back in June itself. According to some Oneplus 6 OnePlus 3T and 3 users, this update was causing a major battery drain.

According to official forums, after the update the battery life came down to half of the original with screen consuming way  more power than the usual norm. Some users also reportedly said that their OnePlus device sundown with 50% battery life. The bug in the update package was causing the phone to drain battery within hours. Some uses even faced problems with the camera app.

Till now, the company has not yet recognised by screen flickering issue and therefore there is no certainty when the issue will resolved.

Seeking to scotch Rumal identify fake news on social media platform WhatsApp our team of expert at a New Delhi based institution is working on developing an application that may be able to tell you whether a message is fake or not. Ponnurangam Kumaraguru, associate professor of computer science at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi is heading the team which is developing the app that seeks to determine the authenticity of message circulated on this platform.

"We are collecting a large amount of data and have asked people to Forward us on the number 93543 25700. These messages will be analysed and accordingly we will develop a model of putting wrapper on search messages," he added.

For example, if a message is received there will be colour quotes that will indicate the authenticity. A green might indicate that it is limited content yellow colour might indicate that the system is not able to decode it while red light indicate that it is definitely fake content, he said.

"Thuogh the messages received, we will study the common factor in such message is. The commonality might be an image a, URL for some words. If it is a forwarded message it is a high probability that it is a fake message," said the professor.

 He said the app is likely to be ready in a couple of months.

"Excavation all the open well in fort at Nagara lead to unearthing of over 1000 corroded rockets stored during Tipu's time for used in war", Archaeology Department.

Bengaluru: Over 1000 "war Rockets" of the 18th century ruler of the erstwhile Mysore state, Tipu Sultan, where are found in an abandoned open well at Bidanooru Fort in Karnataka's Shivamogga district said official on Saturday.

"Excavation of the open well in the fort at Nagara near Shivamogga lead to unearthing of over 1000 corroded Rockets that were stored during Tipu's time for used in Wars", state Archaeology Department assistant director R. SHEJESHWARA NAYAKA told IANS for the site 385 km Northwest of Bengaluru.

A chance discovery of 160 unused rusted Rockets in the vicinity in 2002 and their identification after 5 years of research in 2007 into the Tipu era made the department explore if more such ammunition  was lying worried in the Fort.

" Digging of the dry well where its mud was smelling like gunpowder lead to the discovery of the rockets and shells in pile, each filled with potassium nitrate, charcoal and magnesium powder used to fire all of them using an artillery Mr Nayaka noted.

A 15 member team of archaeologists excavators and labourers took 3 days from Wednesday to unearth the Rockets along with gunpowder and cast in rustic iron.

" The war Rockets are in different sizes measuring 23 to 26 CM or 12 to 14 inches. They were found buried in a secure place in the Well shaped place beneath the surface," Mr Nayaka pointed out.

The Rockets will be kept for public display and the department Museum in Shivamogga city in the mall and region.

"The iron-cased Rockets clearly show Tipu Technology was used in making them. Some of them could even belong to Keladi dynasty and the Wodeyar ruler of Mysore kingdom after Tipu's regin," added Mr Nayaka.

According to historical records with the department, the Maland region including the Fort area in Shivamogga was part of Tipu Mysore kingdom from 1750- 1799 and the Rockets were used in the War fought against the East India company of the British Empire.

 Tipu was killed in fourth Anglo Mysore war in 1799 at Srirangapatna near Mysore after successive victories in Battle against the British rulers.

 A Pioneer in using rocket artillery Tipu used to deploy the Rockets to deter the advancing British forces from advancing into his territory.

For developing the Rockets Tipu took the help of the French Army, which use the British congreve Rockets in the war its commander in chief Napoleon Bonaparte fought in Europe.

The  most recent one of this assembly line of handset is the Huawei NOVA 3. We got our hands on the Huawei NOVA 3 and here are our initial Impressions of the smartphone.

Design

It is an aspect where Huawei hardely misses a step. In the last year or so all the devices that have come out of your Huawei's stable their design has always stood out. The Huawei NOVA 3 is no different as it is a stylish and sleek looking phone. The back  is made of glass and it has a metal frame which aids in making it a good looking phone. There is a dual rear camera set up at the back and Huawei has placed the fingerprint sensor just next to it. The volume Rocker buttons and power button are replaced on the right side whereas the hybrid dual sim tray is on the left. Huawei hasn't given the 3.5 mm headphone jack a miss and it is placed on the bottom along with the speaker grille. The Nova 3 joins the list of the good looking phones that have Huawei makes and gets more than her nod of approval from our side.

Display

A good design can be let down by an average display. However the nova3 doesn't suffer from any such issue. The Nova 3 features a 6.3 inch screen of FHD + resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixel 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 409 ppi. On paper these are solid specs for any Smartphone and they really shine through on the Nova 3. The display has a notch something that has become the norm for most smartphones now and it produces vibrant colours. The viewing angle are also spot on with the Nova 3 and watching multimedia content is a pleasure even with the notch. The display is certainly one of the strong while it's too early to comment on how the phones really perform the nova3 boost of impressive innards. It is powered by company on octa-core kirin 970 processor with Mali g72 MP 12. We have seen this processor earlier in the Huawei p20 Pro and Honour 10 and both the phones deliver efficient and impressive performance for basic multitasking and switching between apps we didn't notice any lags or stutters.  However we haven't put the phone under full test to actually suggest how it truly perform.

Camera

The images are clicked with the dual camera turned out to be sharp at least in the Well lit

 conditions even that dual front camera clicks relatively good images through there is more than a hint of artificialness attached to them. We will be testing the camera in detail in all modes of condition.

If there is one company That seems to be on a launch spree then it is Huawei. Be it with its sub-brand Honor or under its own brand name, the Chinese smartphone company is  rolling out devices one after the other. The  most recent one of this assembly line of handset is the Huawei NOVA 3. We got our hands on the Huawei NOVA 3 and here are our initial Impressions of the smartphone.

Design

It is an aspect where Huawei hardely misses a step. In the last year or so all the devices that have come out of your Huawei's stable their design has always stood out. The Huawei NOVA 3 is no different as it is a stylish and sleek looking phone. The back  is made of glass and it has a metal frame which aids in making it a good looking phone. There is a dual rear camera set up at the back and Huawei has placed the fingerprint sensor just next to it. The volume Rocker buttons and power button are replaced on the right side whereas the hybrid dual sim tray is on the left. Huawei hasn't given the 3.5 mm headphone jack a miss and it is placed on the bottom along with the speaker grille. The Nova 3 joins the list of the good looking phones that have Huawei makes and gets more than her nod of approval from our side.

Display

A good design can be let down by an average display. However the nova3 doesn't suffer from any such issue. The Nova 3 features a 6.3 inch screen of FHD + resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixel 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 409 ppi. On paper these are solid specs for any Smartphone and they really shine through on the Nova 3. The display has a notch something that has become the norm for most smartphones now and it produces vibrant colours. The viewing angle are also spot on with the Nova 3 and watching multimedia content is a pleasure even with the notch. The display is certainly one of the strong while it's too early to comment on how the phones really perform the nova3 boost of impressive innards. It is powered by company on octa-core kirin 970 processor with Mali g72 MP 12. We have seen this processor earlier in the Huawei p20 Pro and Honour 10 and both the phones deliver efficient and impressive performance for basic multitasking and switching between apps we didn't notice any lags or stutters.  However we haven't put the phone under full test to actually suggest how it truly perform.

Camera

The images are clicked with the dual camera turned out to be sharp at least in the Well lit

 conditions even that dual front camera clicks relatively good images through there is more than a hint of artificialness attached to them. We will be testing the camera in detail in all modes of condition.

Wht will we think about it

Overall at Rs. 34,999 Huawei Nova3 age of phone that works in a lot of teachers but its out of price. To sell at his customers demand near flawless performance. Whether the huawei Nova 3 has that or not we will be in this in our full review which will be out soon.

The eclipse place once in the century so you can consider yourself to be lucky to see one. PM Modi talk trade at BRICS Summit, meet Xi on sidelines

In this address PM Modi said, India wants to work with the nation on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and calles for sharing among them the bset practies and policies in the area.

Prime minister Narendra Modi on Thrusday reffirmed India's commitment to multilateralism, international trade and a ruled based world order as he participated in the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China,South Africa) summit in south Africa.
Modi, who arrived in Johannesburg on the last leg of his africa tour, presented the country statement of India at the BRICS leaders' closed session.
''At the session with fellow BRICS leader, I shared my thoughts on various global issues, the importance of technology, skill development and how the effective multilateral cooperation creates a better world," Modi tweeted.
He also meet Chinese President Xi jinping, who earlier urged fellow leaders of the BRICS emerging economies to "reject protectionism outright".
Modi along XI Russian President Vladimir Putin Brazilian president Michel temer and South African president Cyril Ramaphosa posed for a group photograph on the second day of their meeting. The leaders reitreated their reaslove to fight terrorism but the names of terrorist organisation including the Pakistan based once were missing from the joint declaration.
The Xaimen declaration of the last date BRICS summit, which was declared last year as a victory for Indian diplomacy had named Pakistan based terror groups such as the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammad.
" We condemn terrorism in all its form and  manifestation wherever committed by  whomsoever. We urge concerted efforts to counter terrorism under the UN auspices on a firm international legal basis and express our conviction  that comprehensive approach is necessary to ensure an effective fight against terrorism, " the joint statement said. " we recall the responsibility of all states to prevent financing of terrorist Network and terrorist action from their territories."
 In  his address PM Modi said  India wants to work with the nation on the fourth industrial revolution and called for sharing among them the best practices and policies in the area. The 4IR is the four major industrial Era scenes the industrial revolution of the 18th century. Modi said technological innovation can help enhance Service Delivery and productivity levels. "High skilled but temporary work will be the new face of employment. There will be radical change in industrial production, design and manufacturing,"  he said.

In his address, Xi called for a concreted effort by global institution such as the United Nation, the G7 and the world trade organisation to fight unilateralism and protectionism.

Xi also called for dialogue to settle dispute on global trade underlining remark he made at the opening day, urging a rejection of an unilateralism in the wake of tariff threats by US President Donald Trump. Trump's warning have been given the BRICS nations fresh impetus enhance trade cooperation and their leaders found a collective voice compioning Global trade at the Summit.
